What is Koinonia Kids Camp?

Koinonia is a Christian camp committed to creating life-changing experiences for kids. At Kids Camp, students will enjoy a week packed with fun, adventure, and spiritual growth. From exciting games to meaningful moments with Jesus, it’s a week they’ll never forget!

What to expect at camp?

A Week of Unforgettable Fun - Campers will dive into a full week of exciting activities.

Camp Details

Arrival and Pick Up

Please arrive at Koinonia on Sunday between 2:30 pm and 4:00 pm. In order to give cabin leaders time to prepare and staff to be ready we will not be checking in campers until 2:30. Please be aware of this and plan accordingly. All registration and medical information must be completed through your online account beforehand. There will be no onsite registration or completion of registration on Sunday. We will only be collecting medications and snacks/mail on arrival day. PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED onsite during your arrival and departure.
Plan to pick up from Koinonia on Friday between 10:00 am and 10:45 am. We will be monitoring who picks up each camper. Please let us know when you drop off your camper, who will be picking them up on departure day.
The Koinonia store will be open during arrival and departure times.

What Not to Bring

Please leave the following items at home - your week will be better without them.

Items of value such as cell phones (there is no reception at Koinonia)
Magazines
Books
Fireworks & matches.
Weapons of any kind
Drugs, alcohol, tobacco

Account Balance and Camper Money

All outstanding fees must be paid prior to the start of camp. Please log on and make sure your account is complete.
Camper money for the store and snack bar must be entered into the camper account. Your camper will have access to these funds throughout the week. Outstanding funds will be refunded after the completion of camp. Additional funds may be added throughout the week of camp to your campers account through the online account.

Mail Time!

Everyone loves getting mail during the week! There are two ways to send messages to your camper during the week

Send letters or packages - sending mail early (even the Saturday before camp) ensures it will arrive on time. The following information makes it easier to deliver the mail:

Send email to campermail@gotocamp.org (NO attachments or photos) put your camper's name and cabin number (if known), and camp name ("Kids Camp" or “Jr High Camp”) in the email subject line.
Additionally there will be a bin for mail to be collected during check in and we will deliver it throughout the week.

PACKING LIST

The following is a partial list of things you will want to remember to bring with you to camp.

Two pairs of comfortable sturdy shoes

Towels, swimsuit (One-piece, modest*)

Prescription medicines that you need- labeled and handled by the Health Supervisor
- Medications must be in their original labeled container.

*Campers will be asked to wear something over swimsuits or clothing if deemed immodest
